The sooner we meet, the more accurate your recollection of times and events that may play a key role in your defense. What Do I Need to Bring to My Free Consultation?

As soon as you can, and whether you end up hiring a lawyer or not, get organized. Get a folder or binder and keep all of your tickets, notes and any correspondence you receive in one place. You should start taking notes about anything and everything you can remember as soon as you can. If you have receipts or pictures in your phone that can confirm your location at certain points in the night you can begin to build a timeline. Try to remember what you drank, when and where. These things are all helpful, but none of them are required before your free consultation. At a minimum, please have the originals or copies of whatever citation you were given.
